As I have said in a previous post, incest, especially mom/son incest, is very common outside of western societies. The incest taboo that we observe in much of the western world today stems from a repression of human instincts via the false religion promulgated through Christian Catholic church, which dominated and ruled over all of Europe for centuries after the fall of the Roman empire and was eventually overthrown by Martin Luther.
When humans are left in their natural state, such as we see them outside of western-dominated societies, incest becomes much much more common.
As we all know, all of the Middle East and the Indian subcontinent are just incestuous pools of mothers and sons, fathers and daughters, and cousin-marriages, and lots and lots of incestuous marriages.
But even in the Bible, there are alot of incest, where fathers have sex with daughters, and mothers have sex with sons. In fact, Jesus himself might be the product of incest as well, since Jesus, the holy ghost and Yahweh are all the same person, and they were all having sex with Virgin Mary together, so in some metaphorical sense it’s hard not to see that Jesus loves incest. But Jesus still hate fags though! 🤭
Homosexuality is a sin, according to the Bible, but God actually condones incest. Incest is most commonly practiced in Bible-loving states in America, such as Nebraska, Alabama, Mississippi, etc., where lots of god-fearing Christian men are born of incestous marriages and/or practice incest with their mothers/daughters or cousins.
The spiritual leader of the Christian world today, Donald Trump, has also expressed incestous desires for his own daughter Ivanka Trump.
As I see it, the incest taboo is the misinterpretation of the Bible carried out by Catholic priests and it inadvertently caused people to think incest is bad, when, in fact, Jesus never said incest is wrong. I distinctly remember that Paul in either the Corinthians or the Ephesians talk about someone in the church at the time being married to his own mother. People who are interested can look it up.
So having incestuous desires is not something to be ashamed of.
That said, here are some excerpts on how much more common mother/son incest is in Japan than previously known, at least to the western audience.
Excerpt:
“WHAT IS the most common problem you have to deal with?” I asked the young Japanese psychoanalyst.
“Incest,” she replied immediately, “Japanese boys have their first experience of sex with their mothers.”
After more than ten years of studying and living in Japan, this discovery came as a shock to me. I telephoned another old Japanese hand to tell him the news. “I have known that for years,” he replied. “A Japanese Samaritan once told me all Japanese men are literally motherfuckers!”
Satoru Saito, head of the sociopathology department at the Psychiatric Research Institute of Tokyo, doubts that mother-son incest is any more common in Japan than elsewhere. But, he says, “emotional incest” between mothers and their sons is almost a defining feature of Japanese society – “the entire culture has this undertone.”
It is a vicious circle, says Dr Saito. Women who rarely see their husbands except late at night when they come home after drinking with workmates automatically funnel their emotions towards their children, particularly towards their sons.
The sons grow up with over-indulgent mothers who smother them in affection, preventing them from developing emotional independence. The sons accept the power their mothers have over them, and, when they begin dating, they naturally look for another woman to mother them.
This maza-con (mother complex: マザーコンプレックス) is a ritual complaint of young Japanese women seeking a husband. But as soon as they get married, they inevitably transfer the emotions that their husbands will not absorb to their children. And so the cycle perpetuates itself.
“The Japanese male does not like responsibility,” says Dr Saito. “He is always controlled by someone else: his mother, his teacher, his boss in the company. I call this the ofukuro (pouch) function – he seeks to be protected in a maternal pouch all the time. We call our school the ‘mother school’; employees regard their company as some kind of mother figure.”
The mother complex even extends to the state, whose organs of control – police, tax inspectors, railway guards – treat citizens like precious children, in constant need of surveillance and gentle chiding.
“A train is coming. It is dangerous, so please stand behind the white line on the platform,” is the recorded message that is played every time a train comes into a subway station in Tokyo.
It continues after work. Men who do not want to face up to the responsibility of the father/husband role will delay going home by taking refuge in a hostess bar, where they find the mama-san (bar-mother) and her female cohorts who treat their guests as overgrown schoolboys, pouring their drinks, lighting their cigarettes and listening to their complaints about work and, with mock disapproval, to their dirty jokes.
